Puntacroce has been created by a blend of Falanghina, Biancolella, Ginestra, and other local varieties (Fenile, Ripolo and Pepella.) The fragrance features notes of mandarin, apricot, citrus blossoms and lavender. Upon the palate, the marked mineral notes gently offer a subtle aftertaste. The final note is one of candied yellow fruit… A wine ideal to accompany seafood.
A blend of Piedirosso, Aglianco, and Tintore, the Montecorvo has also been created. This is a wine with an intense ruby red color, and the aroma of red plums, oranges, red currents and rose petal. The flavor is pleasantly aromatic and with an unobtrusive tannin structure. An ideal wine to serve with the typical Italian Sunday lunch where meat based red sauces are served.
By the gentle pressing of Piedirosso, Aglianco and Tintore, the Salicerchi has been created. A rosè with a cherry-like color, the Salicerchi possesses a fragrance of cassis, licorice, cloves, and liquor infused strawberries. It offers a freshness to the palate, with alcoholic volume balancing out well with its savory notes. The flavor continues with lighter tannin levels, but deepens with an exceptional acidic structure. A very versatile wine, which can accompany most dishes, such as white meats, lamb roast, pasta dishes, and fruit plates.
Wine made in purity with only Ginestra grapes, a local variety not very widespread with particular organoleptic properties.
This wine is yellow in colour with golden reflections, an aroma with hints of citrus, candied fruit, apricot and notes of yellow blossoms.
The mouthfeel is wrapping, harmonious, savory and with great persistence.
Excellent both as aperitif and to pair with shellfish, baked fish and risotto.
